Energy healing is an alternative form of medicine that is rooted in ancient eastern medicine. Energy healing includes modalities such as Reiki, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Healing Touch and many others. Acupuncture is also a form of energy healing.

Disease results from an imbalance or blockage in our body’s vital energy. By removing the blockage or stimulating the flow of energy, our body can naturally heal itself. Trauma is a disconnection of the energy body from our physical body. To effectively deal with trauma it is important to “ground” a person’s energy lower in the body in order to heal.

Energy healing results are not always immediate and often is enhanced by self-healing techniques of energy medicine including EFT, Releasing Emotions and Mediation.

The energy in our bodies is not ours. It comes from the earth’s magnetic field. We can heal by learning to connect to this vital energy source. When our energy is blocked it can result in chronic syndromes such as fibromyalgia, anxiety, or chronic fatigue. When we learn to direct this energy and restore its flow we can heal in body, mind, and spirit.

There are simple techniques that can be used to direct the energy in your body to the areas that feels painful or uncomfortable. Every person has the ability to heal themselves with the proper tools and techniques.

Every person has a limited supply of energy that we use up each day unless we learn to recharge and renew our energy. We need to learn to gather more energy through daily exercise, being in nature, mediation, sound and even the use of crystals. We also need to be aware of the stagnation of energy or blocks to our energy body that eventually may cause disease. Disease often manifests in our energy body first, and then comes out sideways in the physical body if its not addressed properly.
